Philippa
has painted all her life and made this her profession after
graduating from University with an honours degree in 1995. 2004
has been a notable year: not only did her oil portrait of 'Sadlers
Wells' make £8,500 when auctioned for charity at the Kentucky
Derby Ball, she was also delighted to win 'Best Painting' by
an artist under 30 at the Society of Equestrian Artists Annual
Exhibition at the Pall Mall Gallery, London. The highlight of
the year though, took place at Windsor Castle. The artist was
immensely proud to present HM the Queen with a pastel painting
of her two Highland Pony Mares, 'Balmoral Jingle' and 'Balmoral
Curlew', pictured left. |

A
great animal lover and a judge of show ponies and horses across
several panels, Philippa has ridden since an early age and will
never forget the magic moment when winning the Mountain and Moorland
Ridden Final at Olympia on the fabulous Connemara, "Marwoods
Doon Caedmon". Her lifetime experience with horses and
dogs has proved invaluable in capturing their character and
individualism on canvas. Oils, pastels and water-colours; whatever
medium you prefer can be used to create your painting. |

| Famous
commissions include 2001 Grand National Winner, "Red
Marauder", Cheltenham Gold Cup Winner, "Cool
Dawn", Olympic Team SJ Mare, "Showtime"
and Olympic Dressage Stallion, "Dutch Gold".
Philippa loves the variety in painting the smallest Jack Russell to
a pedigree bull; all Equestrian subjects have been covered but a
favourite old pony is treated with just the same attention to detail
as a Horse of the Year Show Champion. For peace of mind there is
also a full refund if you are not absolutely delighted with the
finished painting.
The
artist's speciality is in creating a very detailed and perfect
likeness. If you have always fancied a portrait of your special
